Description
The working principle of vortex flowmeters is based on the Karman vortex principle, which
states that when an object is placed in a fluid, alternating shedding vortices will occur on
both sides of the object, a phenomenon known as the Karman vortex street. By
detecting the frequency of these vortices, the flow rate of the fluid can be calculated. This
flowmeter is suitable for measuring gas, liquid and steam and other media, widely used in
petroleum, chemical, electric power, light industry and other industries.
